No. 1028 is used for preheating large dies. Each of the two compartments of this 750°F (399°C) electric cabinet oven measure 40″ wide x 42″ deep x 51″ high. A 7,800 CFM, 5-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the workload in each compartment and 100 kW are installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular elements to heat the oven chamber.
The cabinet oven has 8″ insulated walls, removable top-mounted heat chamber, aluminized steel interior and exterior, and two tiers of four 300 lbs. capacity shelves supported by rollers to extend 14″ in front of the oven.
Controls include digital temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors, SCR power controller, and circuit breakers disconnect switch.
