GA SERIES
Gravity convection ovens designed for general laboratory use when temperature control and uniformity are less critical. Ideal for drying samples, such as fine powders, requiring low turbulence air flow. Temperatures to 225°C (437°F). Analog (°C) temperature controller includes LED indicators to show power on, heat on, and alarm condition when safety backup is controlling temperature.

GM SERIES
Identical to GA Series above for operating temperatures to 275°C (527°F) and includes microprocessor based temperature controller as described under FM Series below.

FM SERIES
Forced convection ovens feature a blower system for improved performance. An ideal choice when temperature uniformity and control are important considerations. The blower gently circulates heated air throughout the chamber improving temperature uniformity and control. This forced convection also reduces heat-up and recovery time. Temperatures to 275°C (527°F). Microprocessor based temperature controller includes digital display of temperature in °C. LED indicators to show temperature setting is being changed, heat on, and alarm condition when safety backup is controlling temperature.

STANDARD EQUIPMENT   Back to Top
Standard Electrical Characteristics
— 120 volts, 50-60 Hz, 3-wire cord and plug
— 240 volts, 50-60 Hz, 3-wire cord

Standard Features
Electronic calibrated temperature controller sets desired oven temperature. Backup safety maintains temperature control at 5°C above setpoint should the primary controller fail. GM and FM series include microprocessor based temperature controller with digital temperature display in °C. LED indicaters show heat on and alarm condition.

GA and GM SERIES

Gravity Convection
Heat is transferred directly from bottom up through the oven chamber, and exits by gravity convection through vent at the top of work space.

FM SERIES
Forced Convection
Includes forced circulation for improved temperature uniformity, large moist loads, or to speed up drying times. Heated air is gently forced horizontally inward from both sides of the oven chamber where it exits through openings in the sidewall plenums. It circulates through the oven, is drawn down through the center of the chamber, reheated and recirculated. Exhaust is through vent at the top of work space.
